Happy Nordic Living Oy has been approved to proceed within the EU’s Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF), the European Union’s flagship investment initiative supporting Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.
Our €85 million investment programme aims to establish modular timber construction production and implement a large-scale sustainable housing initiative across Ukrainian regions, combining local value chains with Nordic know-how and EU standards.
The company’s investment proposal has successfully passed the initial eligibility stage and has been selected for participation in the closed-door EU–Ukraine Investment Workshop, organised by the European Commission as part of the EU–Ukraine Investment Conference in Warsaw.
The workshop — held on 13 November 2025, 11:30–13:00 (Room D, ReBuild Ukraine, Warsaw) — will bring together eligible companies, representatives of the European Commission, and international financial institutions to discuss opportunities to mobilise private investments for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Participation in the UIF process marks an important step forward for Happy Nordic Living’s mission to develop sustainable modular timber housing and local production capacity in Ukraine, in close cooperation with Ukrainian Hromada and European partners.
