On December 9, 2025, a delegation from Happy Nordic Living Oy visited the city of Fastiv and met with Mayor Mykhailo Netiazhuk together with some key official of the city to discuss the city’s development priorities and opportunities for international cooperation.

Fastiv is located approximately 65 km from Kyiv along key logistics corridors, making it an attractive location for industrial development and new investments. With a population of around 50,000 residents and a growing number of internally displaced people, the city faces an increasing need for modern, energy-efficient housing and sustainable economic activity.

The meeting was open and constructive, reflecting Fastiv’s proactive approach to cooperation and long-term recovery planning. I was personally impressed by the remarkable resilience, determination and professionalism demonstrated by the people and leadership of Fastiv, and I have great respect for the way the city continues to move forward in these demanding times.

The dialogue between Happy Nordic Living Oy and the City of Fastiv will continue.
